Odds and Ends #1

,

JISM #4: Wrap-Up, the thrilling conclusion (for now) to the not-a-trilogy, will be coming tomorrow. Here’s some lighter fare.

We’re gonna be switching to Wednesday and Saturday after tomorrow. That means there will be an extra post this coming week on Wednesday. Occasionally bonus posts not unlike this one will publish on Sunday,

but mostly it’ll be Wednesday and Saturday.

Imagine you’re performing and ask them to shuffle, hoping your key card doesn’t split, and they start to shuffle like this.

The person who sent me this told me that it’s actually much easier to faro sleeved cards. This is very interesting, and could open up a whole world of collectible card magic ripe for the taking.

Ripe because I’m sure not fucking doing it.

You should know MattColbo from his incredibly funny video When Someone Asks You To Pick a Number From 1-100.

He also has this oddly inspiring video, where he tries with varying amounts of success to learn how to throw a playing card into fruit.
