From a reader: Lary Kuehn, one of the founding fathers of bizarre magic, has passed away. Lary was one of the kindest, most helpful magicians I have been fortunate enough to know, and leaves a legacy not only in his publications such as the Bigger Book of Boo, but also in the many magicians he has inspired and given encouragement to over the years. His wife Shelly requests that anyone wishing to contact the family waits at least a week.
It’s time for another batch of correspondence from the people who read this blog, to the people who write it.
By the way, if you’re going to get the “invisible playing cards” in the image above, don’t use it for the Invisible/Ultra-Mental Deck. Just don’t. Use it with a Phantom Deck by Joshua Jay or just leave it empty.
Regarding Checking Your ID, S had a handful of kind words.
I’m going to start doing that when I get a new invisible deck.
Thanks, S. That’s the highest compliment you could give.
M was a big fan of Rubiked Mentor, and pointed something out.
Great story, and the first entry in his cabinet he didn’t solve.
Thanks for the observation, M! We’re very glad you enjoyed it.
Meanwhile, somebody gave us a beautiful gift.
Dear anonymous blog person,
Your site doesn’t have a logo so I’ve made you one (attached). I’m not a graphic designer, so you might want to employ the services of one if you’d like to get something better, but I think this logo suits your site well and you definitely should use it.
Kind regards,
An anonymous reader person
It’s… it’s… beautiful! I feel like I’m staring at my firstborn child! Thank you, anonymous reader person! This will be the perfect logo! No graphic designer needed!
