Timon Krause’s book sounds great. I’m very hyped up for it. I don’t know much about it (cold reading?), but everything Timon releases is golden. Hopefully, there are a few less footnotes in this one though. Or, hell, if Harrison Greenbaum loves them, so can I, I guess. I can learn to love footnotes. I can become a footnote fetishist.
New force options for Random Card Generator by Plainsight Magic! Fuck yeah! The only problem with Random Card Generator is that it’s one of the forces I most want to repeat later on and use it for other tricks.
Not a new release, but Babu’s Nest of Wallets is amazing. Snap buttons? And you pull the wallets out face up? Brilliant.
The Atomic Deck is, of course, going to be very exciting. I can’t wait for us to review it and finally not shit on Craig Petty.
However, the other Craig Petty release coming up, Spectrum Sharpies or something, I can’t say I’m too impressed by. Sure, if you do the color-changing pen knives, this is a great upgrade, but… Well, it’s not my place to say. I’m sure someone will get something out of it, just not for me.
ProMystic will be there with the new ProMystic Rechargeable Receiver, if you like some electronics in your magic (everything still to come will be about electronics) and have money to blow. I love all their stuff. In fact, ProMystic was cited in my divorce papers. “Financial irregularities” or some nonsense like that. It’s not my fault the bitch wanted to stop me from living my life!
Audience Wonderland has Spectra coming, which is (spoiler alert!) like a PeekSmith built into a single blank business card with e-ink!!! That sounds amazing!
Synaptic by Conjuring Lab should be a miracle.
AMi by Matthew Wright in collaboration with Mark Elsdon (yeah, I know, we suck up to Mark Elsdon too much) sounds absolutely genius. As Mark would say, highest recommendation. Tentatively, anyway. Haven’t actually tried it yet.
